In order to get your septic system ready for county inspection, Sitework Developing, Inc. will need an adult present on the property. Then we will need to expose for inspection all of the components of your septic system, such as
- Both openings on each septic tank: tank/aerator inlet(s) lids
- All distribution boxes
- Exits to any curtain drain(s)
- Lift station
- Chlorinator
- Discharge poin
By exposing these components, Sitework Developing, and eventually county inspectors, will be able to map and assess your entire system. If we discover problems in the process, can fix them before the inspection.
After the inspection, only the requester will receive the report. The report may detail corrections that need to be made. If corrections are needed, the county will issue orders. You’ll need to schedule another inspection and pay the inspection fee again. Similarly, if the county labels it a failing system, you’ll need to schedule another inspection and pay again. Clearly, finding and correcting problems with your septic system before inspection saves time and money. Sitework Developing, Inc. is here to help you accomplish those goals.
